ABOUT WE REJOICE
OUR JOURNEY
It all began in the year 2022 when we were tasked by the CCR Mumbai to write a theme song for the CCR Mumbai’s Golden Jubilee Celebration. The recording of the song required gathering musicians that shared similar values in faith; those were the initial stages in the formation of the band. The name "We Rejoice" stemmed from the name of the same Theme Song for the CCR Mumbai Golden Jubilee. It then triggered a spark of faith and friendship in the hearts of a small group of passionate musicians and worshippers. Born out of the desire to spread the joy of the Gospel through music, we came together not just as a band, but as a family in Christ, unified by the love of God and a shared mission to bring people closer to Him.
HOW WE WORK
All of the band members also have full time careers to pursue as a living (some still students though) to provide for themselves and their families, hence we limit our bookings to what is manageable. And we continue to welcome more like-minded musicians, singers and support volunteers to the band. We function as a non-profit, trusting in God's providence, we are flexible to meet the needs of the event whether big or small gatherings.
Each member of the band brings a unique flavor, coming from different backgrounds but united in one purpose: to glorify God and lead others into His presence. We believe in the power of music as a form of prayer, and through upbeat praise, reflective worship, and everything in between, our goal is to create an atmosphere where people of all ages and backgrounds can encounter God in a personal way.
